You can connect your Samsung Vibrant to your HDTV via a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable and enjoy full “mirroring” of your Vibrant’s screen on your TV. This allows you to browse the web, play games, and watch movies, except it will also be shown on your large HDTV.
You can get a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable on Amazon for just about $3.84 (Don’t pay like $20-30 retail)!
This is actually the same type of cable used on older camcorders to display video on your TV. If you have an old camcorder, I would check to see if you have something like this, you probably do.
Also, if you want to “extend” the range of this cable so you can couch-surf, you can get a female-to-female RCA coupler along with a 25-feet RCA cable or 50-feet RCA cable depending on your needs.
Need it longer? Just get more couplers and cables, you should be good to go!
Here’s a video demo I made using the exact same cable, make sure the “red” goes to video, and sometimes it might take couple tries before it starts working!
Here’s a video demo of the cable in works on a Samsung Captivate (which is the AT&T brother of T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant): (Your Samsung Vibrant has exact same feature as the Captivate)
